    2. Sarah Snow also had a daughter by a previous marriage...this is Mary Jenkins, who married a Robert Riddle within a few months after her mother's death in 1877. Their marriage must have been annuled, because she was living with her step-father in the 1880 census for Randolph County, Arkansas. This is where Sarah Snow Jenkins Riddle died, in Ravenden Springs, Arkansas. So they must have moved there about 1876, soon after the birth of Monroe, Junior. In 1877 Dr. M.M. Riddle married a Mary Francis LeMastis Todd. She had a son by the name of Joseph Todd from a previous marriage. They were married in Arkansas. Their children were; Martha Ann Riddle b. 12-14-1878 Charlotty I. Riddle b. 3-21-1879 Lola Francis Riddle b. 7-25-1882 Milinery Millis Riddle b. 6-28-1885 William Carroll Riddle b. 1-18-1896 Now, to get back to my g-grandfather, Samuel R.S. Riddle met and married Florence Huddleston in 1898 in Randolph County, Arkansas. Their children were; Geneva Isabell Riddle born 1900 Laura Mae Riddle born 1902 Sarah Jean Riddle born 1907 Male child Riddle unknown birthdate or deathdate. There were undoubtedly more Riddle children of this union, however, there is nothing that we have found as of yet. JOHN PRESTON RIDDLE of AR dcline@cvn.net Dewey Cline J.P. (John Preston) Riddle. His marriage license, he is listed as J.P. Riddle(30) who married Sidney Adline Vance(19) on October 18, 1888 in Strickler, Washington County, Arkansas. He was next ordained as Minister of the Gospell of Christ, Church of Christ, April 3, 1893, in Muskogee, Pittsburg County, Oklahoma (Creek Indian Territory at that time). Sidney Adline Vance is listed as Lucille Adalide Vance and J.P. Riddle is listed as John Preston Riddle on the SS-5 application of their youngest son Dewey Hobson Riddle; b:12JUL1900, Cribbs (believed to be present day Krebs) Oklahoma (Indian Territory). Sidney Adline Riddle is listed on the 1910 Creek County Oklahoma Census in the city of Sapulpa, as on Sarah A. Riddle, head of household, Clifford E., age 16, Nicholas, age 13, and Dewey H. age 10. According to what little has been passed down, J.P. Riddle was a traveling preacher and deputy sheriff who was killed when Dewey Hobson Riddle was either 7 months old or 7 years old depending on version. Nicholas was killed on the railroad tracks between Tulsa and Sapulpa about 1917. Dewey passed away in 1980 but Clifford was last noted to be in Detroit, Michigan about the early 1960's (Supposedly had a son Clifford E., Jr who moved to Colorado). LAFAYETTE RIDDLE, born abt 1875 MO or TX jncriddle@cyberback.com Christine Riddle Lafayette Riddle, born approximately 1875 (maybe earlier) in Browning, Missouri (maybe Texas), married Emma Rachel Carroll in 1910 at Madill, Oklahoma. One son, Roy Casal Riddle. LEWIS RIDDLE, born 1778 VA pettit@Adobe.COM Teri Pettit Lewis RIDDLE born about 1778, VA; prob died in the 1850's in Bath Co KY (disappears from census, although he could have moved) m. Elizabeth BARBEE, 14 Jun 1803 in Caroline Co VA (bond issued 24 Feb 1803) to Bourbon Co KY by 1807, to Bath Co KY 1817. Children: John William b 1808, dau b 1810 who prob. married a Mr. Vice, Robert b ca 1811, Stephen Commodore b ca 1818, Andrew B. b 1819, Harrison b 1821, Lewis Jr. b 1827. John Wm died in Rowan Co KY, the others all died in Bath Co KY
