On the ancestral file from Salt Lake, there a family: George Riddle-b. abt 1765-Sussex County, New Jersey-d.? Mary Ayers-b. abt. 1765-d. 1819- Sussex County, NJ seven children all born in Alleghany County, MD- ( caught our eye Maryland) Jane -1785, SAMUEL- 1789, Polly-1791, Dorcas-1792, Michael-1793, Elizabeth-1795, and then a Moses Ayers Riddle listed in 1787 SAMUEL is shown as marrying a Nancy Swick in 1890 in MD but no children are shown...perhaps she died and he remarried Anna Clarvo? The ancestral file goes on with Mary Ayer's family but nothing more about George. Our (Sue Larson & Mike Conners) Samuel's age fits abt 1790?.....it's a thought!!! Can anyone add to this or??
