He was born in 1860 and married Georgia Vickery in 1884 in Caldwell County, Texas. He died in Caldwell County, Texas in 1939. They had five children: Otis, Prebble, Dezzy, Joanne and another whose name I don't know. James A. and Georgia are buried in the Bunton Cemetery in Dale, TX along with a number of other Riddles including a Mrs. James Riddle (as well as several of their children).
