Here's my line, Pam. William Jackson Riddle B. 8 May 1831, in Indiana County, PA. ON his death certificate, it states that he is the son of William, born in Scotland. Mother's name is unknown, but she was supposedly born in Ireland. William married Mary Caroline McSparren in 1853 and they moved to Jefferson County, PA. In about 1885 they moved to Foxburg, PA. In the 1900 Census we find Mary Caroline with one of the daughters and in the 1910 census we find her in Oil City with her daughter Margaret Buzard. William was still in Foxburg at the time... Here are their children's names: Henry, Margaret, William E., James L. Carrie Jane, John Dowling, and an infant who died after a couple days. Here's Steve's website: http://www.familytreemaker.com/users/r/i/d/Steve-Riddle/ Hope maybe you can find some connection. I'm also working with a girl who just got started. Her Riddles came from Westmoreland/Allegheny County and settled in the south-eastern corner of Butler County. Their names were almost identical to the names found in Steve's family. Again, we've been unable to tie them together. Talk to you later, Pat
