I found this list of Riddlell families in my files as I am attempting to go through and throw out. I have a bunch of them so here goes on these 2 pages. These may help someone. John Riddell -probably born in Ballaymeath Ireland abt 1641. Died Jan 3 1737 probabbly in Ballaymeath, Lononderry, Ireland Married June 4 1670 in Ballaymeath, Londonerry, Ireland Mother is Hugh Riddell Mother was Mary WIlson He married Janet Gordon- born about 1645 also of Ballaymeath Londerry, Ireland. They show she died in 1990 but that could not be possible if she was born in 1670. Their children: John Riddell Died 1687 and this seems rather strange also but it may be true. Gavin Riddell- Mary Riddell- Hugh RIddell Born 16 91 in Ballaymeath Londonerry Ireland Died- 1775 in Coleraine, Franklin County, Massachusetts Marrried Ann Aiken 1739 in Coleraine, Franklin Col Mass. James Riddell- married Elizabeth Douglass Nov. 13, 1726 She was also born in Ballaymeath, Londonerry Ireland Robert Riddell married Mary Thompson - Abt 1752 in Coleraine Franklin County Mass. John (Gawn) Riddell Died Dec 29 1779 in Bedford, Middlesex, Mass Janet Riddell married a Thomas Hamilton April 6, 1721 in Ballaymeath Londerry, Ireland Margery Riddell Married John Clark on May 20, 1722 in Ballaymeath Londerry Ireland. Samuel Riddell I do not have the particulars on him at all. It seems most of them were born in Ballaymeath Ireland so he probably was too. (Wish I knew more about this Samuel and when he died and where and who his wife was and when he came to America.)That is all I have on this family and I do not know who mailed it to me.
