Richard, There is a Moses Britton with the following children: Daniel Laine, Benjamin and Rebecca. Moses Britton was in the Pee Dee in 1735. He died in 1773. His land was at Britton's Neck. He was married to Hester Jolly. Married 23 April 1741. Second marriage - Ann. Moses Britton had brothers Joseph, Phillip, John and Timothy. Sources: Cook, Boddie, Moore, RBPPFW. That's all that's given about a Benjamin Britton in this book. Lots of the people mentioned in this book end up in NC - that's why I photocopied so many pages out of it. I also copied the Britton pages because on Nathianel Brittan or Britian or Brittian who was a noted Tory with William Riddle.
