Kristen, Sorry the previous msg was about William Franklin's father. William b 7/22/1835 went into mercantile business in Detroit. He entered the Union army in the Civil War and served as a 2nf Lt in the Wisconsin Vol 22nd Reg. He returned to Detrot to continue business after the war.
