That's a good question which I would not have thought of. I don't know anything about him. I found the information while researching another of my lines and made a copy of it to bring home and post thinking someone might could use it. The spelling in the index was Riddle and I am assuming that was the way it is on the land grant. I will look more for him the next time I go to the Historical Society and internet resources to see what I can come up with. Does anyone else know anything about this Cornelius Riddle?
