Something happened today and I need to say this. I am so new on this search that I sometimes feel I have nothing to contribute. If any of you have proven marriage records, etc. Go to that site on the USGenWeb and post them. I feel, and remember, I am new....that this is not a tit for tat. We are all searching and anything we can do for each other should be taken into consideration. We may give someone information and they may not have much to contribute NOW....but who knows what they will have later.....and look at all we have received from others who have posted before us. When I received copies of my grandparents and great grandparents marriage license....I posted them to the Marshall Co., AL marriages and when I stood up and walked away from my computer...I think I walked with a proud swagger. I had posted proven information. I HAD CONTRIBUTED. It's not a contest. It's a shared adventure with only one goal in mind....we can leave a legacy to our children, our grandchildren and so on. As we all know, it doesn't take too many years for our roots to become lost. We need to play Hansel and Gretel........scatter those crumbs and try to leave as much of a trail as you can for future generations. As far as my Riddles go.....my hat is off to you.
