Hi Russell and other cousins and Listers I attended the reunion in Mount Pleasant, Texas, in June. It is held each year on the first Sunday in June. For the last few years it has been held at the Titus County Extension Office at 1708 Industrial Rd, across from the Daily Tribune office. This reunion is a gathering of the descendants of Isaac and Anna Riddle, but they are mostly descendants of two sons, Elam and Isaac Rogers Riddle. Sadly, attendance has been dwindling for the last few years and there were only twenty or so people there. I was told that there used to be 400 or so people at the reunions, so many that they had to be held out in the open, in Dellwood Park. Waning interest and gradual dispersion of the family through marriages and people moving away have taken a toll on the reunions. There is a very good possibility that in another year or two there will be no Riddle reunion there. I am a descendant of Isaac and Anna through another son, Joseph P. I live in the Fort Worth, Texas, area and found out about the reunion about two years ago, so I have attended twice. I and the folks I could bring with me from Fort Worth were the only people with the Riddle name there this year.
