Teresa, It has helped me a lot because I don't have access to a library with genealogical materials (unfortunately). Most of the folks I have found have been in New England and there seems to be a lot of information about that area. One suggestion is to look at the databases available on that site and see if you think they would help you. For me it has been a lifesaver.
