Cathy (keeper of the names) and all, Earlier I posted my great-grandparents, John G. (possibly Grenade) Riddle and wife, Milissa Ann Stone. Here are their children: 1. John Henry G. "Nade" Riddle, b. Oct 28, 1877 in Comanche Co., Texas; d. Mar 1957 in Quemado, Maverick Co., Texas. Married Nancy Jane Huggins abt 1895/96 in Coalgate, Coal Co. Indian Territory. (this is my line) 2. Addie Mae Riddle, b. 1880; died young. 3. James Louis Riddle, b. June 1883; died young 4. Effie Fredinia Riddle, b. Oct 1885; married George Woods. 5. Sarah Elizabeth Riddle, b. Dec 1887; married Clarence Gray Huggins, brother to Nancy Jane Huggins (above) in Quitaque, Briscoe Co., Texas. They both died in Quemado, Maverick Co., Texas. 6. Lola Florence Riddle, b. Sep 1890; married William Herman Cryer. lived in Elida, New Mexico. 7. Texie Myrtle Riddle, b. Jan 1893; married Bud Ward. 8. Willy Wade Riddle, b. Oct 23, 1895 9. Mattie Miranda Riddle, b. Mar 1898; died young. 10. Etta A. Riddle, b. 1900; married Bill Melton. I know this family lived in Comanche Co, Texas in the early 1880's and at some point moved to Indian Territory. They owned a store in Lehigh, Coal Co. at least by 1895. It was called, "The Blue Front Confectionary".
