The information of the three RIDDLE children is listed under a separate heading entitled ADDITIONS TO COUNTY FROM "P" RETURNS (Is this physicians returns?) then under the subtitle District #3, Enumeration District #35. R., his son John M., his son Sam Daniel, his son Baker Riley RIDDLE who is my husband's maternal grandfather. I am trying to look at every source for RIDDLE's I can get my hands on in the immediate area (Cumberland, Clinton, Monroe Co., KY). Therefore, I am having to also try to sort out the descendancy of Joseph's brother James as well. Not much to go on yet. I am curious as to whether or not you agree with Rodney that the Alabama RIDDLE's are more than likely descendants of Cumberland Co., KY RIDDLE's. I know just this morning someone (Linda RIDDLE) posted on Alabama RIDDLE's and a couple given names are quite familiar to me (i.e. Ransom and Lucinda). Thank you so much for this lookup.
