Carol Gross ----Original Message Follows---- From: "rainforest" <[email protected]> Reply-To: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: [RIDDLE-L] Robert Bruce Riddle Date: Tue, 6 Feb 2001 20:37:00 +1100 Hey all I am trying to find information on my grandfather, who was/is Robert Bruce Riddle. >From my mothers birth certificate his occupation is a Seamen, so this could have been a Merchant Seamen or a Naval person for the US Forces. I believe he was born around 1920 in or around the Oklahoma/ Texas area of the USA. He did spend around New Years 1937 in Australia and again he visited the Aussie shores in 1942 when he married my grandmother. With this small amount of information I have not had much success in finding him. My motive for finding him is that I would like my mother to know her father. The urgency of this is high as my mum has been diagnosed with a brain tumour & is due to be operated on in about a week. So I am sure all you people out there can sympathise with my urgency. If anyone out there knows of a way to locate records of Robert please contact me. Anything would be a great help. I know this is needle in a haystack stuff but it is all I have to work with.
