Riddle b: 3/19/1803 in VA. d: 9/13/ 1840 in Bloomington, Monroe County, IN. Married Polly Mirah Parks b: 8/29/1808 Burke County, N.C. d: 3/20/1902 in Clear Creek Twp. Monroe County, IN. They had four(4) children : William Thomas/Thompson Riddle b:9/15/1831 d: 3/1892 Marshall County, Priscilla Caroline Riddle b:10/05/1835 Monroe County, IN d:9/25/1890 Inwood, Marshall County, IN George Marion Riddle b:9/07/1837 Bloomington, Monroe County, IN d:8/01/1910 Inwood, Marshall County,IN Harrison H. Riddle b: 2/18/1839 Monroe County, IN. d:6/24/1934 Bloomington, Monroe County, IN Twin sons of Wm.T. & Nancy Anderson Riddle William A. Riddle & James E.Riddle Their mother passed away shortly after their birth. In addition to the twins, there were three girls :Clarissa, Melinda, and Emma. Does anyone have any idea as to where the children went after the death of their mother? Who raised them? One of the twins, William A.Riddle married several times. One of the marriages was to Eliza Freeman Elliott Riddle. There was one son born b: 7/23/1897 Cloverdale, Putnam County, In d: 8/10/1977 Minneapolis, Hennepin County, MN With all the Riddles I see on the list, I hope someone can help. I have 3 questions: does anyone have data on either of these folks?� I have heard of a Riddle-Ray book by a Mr. Ray.� (Cousin Steve Riddle says he is in it.)� But I don't have it.� Does anyone know where I can find this book?� Perhaps, because the timing is right, Samuel Riddle married the widow Ollie Wilson after her first husband and my ancestor, Andrew Jackson Riddle, was killed in the civil war.� Does anyone have data on an Andrew Jackson Riddle b: 11/7/1830 in Yancey Cty, NC and d: 12/25/1861 in the Civil War?
