Danny---John Riddle, the husband of Elizabeth Sanders, lived in Kershaw County, SC at one time. He is shown in the 1800 census. Some believe that he was the son of another John Riddle who came over from Ireland in 1771 on the ship Free Mason and was given land grants in Kershaw Co. Some in my clan believe that John Riddle of Laurens Co. SC who married Mary Higgins was the son of the one who came from Ireland. I have never seen anything that proves or disproves either theory beyond any doubt. There is evidence both ways. Good luck.-----Jim
