Hello All--Just to post again about my Maryland Riddles in the hope that someone new will recognize some names. Proven ancestry is as follows: John Richard Riddle b. 1800 m. Susan R. Johnson on August 22,1838 Their children: Archibald b. 1841, Louisa b. 1842, Rebecca b. 1843 and James P. b. January 10,1845. James P. Riddle b. January 10,1845 married Emma Frances Loveless on March 15,1869 James died January 1,1926 Their children: John Richard, b. June 30,1870, Carrie b. 1872,Charles Henry, b. 1874,Rufus, Daisy, Cleveland(Pete), Lee, Robert, Annie Mae, Louise, and Clara. John Richard Riddle b. June 30,1870 d. September 4,1955 married Nora Anne Hart. Their children: Mary Anne, b. October 5,1892 Frank b. 1893, Charles b. 1898, James b 1907 ,Noreen, b. 1910, Katherine Louise b. 1911, and Mabel b. 1915 Mary Anne Riddle b. October 5,1892 married Henry George Keller Their children: Ella Nora, b. October 14,1914, Lawrence, Isobel, Henry, Raymond, John and Mary Jane. I believe but cannot as yet prove that the ancestors of John Richard who married Susan Johnson were John Riddle SR. b. ca 1680 m. Elizabeth Unknown Their son, John Riddle Jr. b. 1708 m. Elizabeth Lentall Theri son Jacob Riddle Sr.b. 1739 m. Sarah Lunn Their son,Jacob Riddle Jr. b. 1764 m.
