The Fort Wayne, IN library has a work by Alice Young Duncan entitled "Stephen Riddle and His Descendants" which they will print and mail to you for a nominal cost. Stephen did have a son named Benjamin who according to Mrs Duncan married Mary Slater in Rowan County, NC. She died in 1812 and in 1824 Benjamin moved to Tennessee where he and his second wife Nellie Harnline had 4 children. The Duncan work makes no mention of a Frances Hawkins.
