    1. Re: [RIDDLE-L] Copy & Paste Lesson
    2. Since no one else seems to know how to copy and paste with a Mac, here are the instructions: First, the Mac does not have a left click or right click. Second, the cursor changes shape when over text or an area which can accept text, becoming a vertical line with a short inward-pointing arrowhead at each end. This is the text selection cursor. Now for the instructions. 1. Position the text selection cursor immediately in front of the first letter of the first word of the text you want to copy. 2. Click and hold down your mouse button while you drag the cursor to the end of the text you are copying. It will be highlighted (color set by the computer operator). 3. Release the mouse button. 4. Simultaneously press and then release the Apple key and the "c" key (The Apple key acts as a second shift key.). 5. Position the text selection cursor where you want to paste the text you just copied. This can be in any document which can accept text. 6. Simultaneously press and then release the Apple key and the "v" key. Your copied text will now appear in its new location.
