Not to worry, Carol. Actually, I have seen it said the twins were born in Surry Co., NC, Grayson Co., Va., Montgomery Co., Va. - lots of ideas. Joseph's death certificate is the one concrete statement we have. Of course, Wythe Co., Va. did not exist in 1777 - so who ever wrote the info. on the death certificate was speaking of location as of 1857. That is a very common occurance. Best wishes, Mary Mary E.
