    3. Try getting in touch with Chief Gary Ridge of the Southern Cherokee Nation about land records. He is based in western NC. He has been very kind to us. In fact he sent us a Cherokee flag. I think we are distant cousins. His email address is: [email protected] I have a friend who is Cherokee and lives in Tulsa. Everytime he writes he calls me "Chef". he can't spell. My uncle was Benjamin F.
