Riddle b. in NC and moved to TN (Rhea County) 1800-1810. My Terry married Mary "Polly" Patterson (Mary "Polly" name seems to have been a very popular name in that era) in 1819, Rhea County, TN. It is possible from the date of birth of your Mary and your J. T. Riddle that she is a sister to my Terry Riddle. I would be interested in learning more about this line.
