Distance wise I do not know how far, but Tullahoma, TN is in the south central part of the state and Hamilton/Rhea CO is south eastern part of the state. All I know is that James R. Riddle went to Rhea/Hamilton County in the earlys 1800s and I assume he came from the Mecklenburg NC area with Robert Patterson since they had adjoining lands in TN. But, we all know what happens when we assume. I would be interested in finding out what you have on your Riddles that you do know about, it is possible that James and your John were brothers.
