Dad's sister Iva Riddle worked for him and his first wife at one time and after the Doctor's first wife passed away, Dr. Bright asked Iva Riddle to marry him but she declined. Dr. Bright's first wife was a Riddle and she had a brother who lived in Texas that came to Baxter Springs often to visit his nephew's and niece. This Texas Riddle had red-hair and he told Nathan Riddle that his family had a silver spoon that had been handed down in their family since the reign of "Bloody" Mary Queen of Scots.
