I have an Elizabeth RIDDLE from the KY area, b. about 1826/7. No other early history but found again in 1860 as Elizabeth HURT living with John LONG. Do you have any additional info on your Eliz? In what location did you find Elizabeth Riddle Hurt in 1860? I have record of Elizabeth Riddell, b abt 1827, Estill Co KY, dau of Col. John Hugh Riddell b 1808, and Elizabeth Mize Riddell, b 1807. This dau Elizabeth married John Whitehead on 11 June 1846 in Estill Co KY. I haven't found any children listed for them. The following are some of my notes about Elizabeth: est co ky marr records, Vol A - 154, signed by Stephen K. Vaught Not noted in her father John H. Riddell's will, Will Bk E, Estill Co Ky, dtd 28 Oct 1863, page 97. Isaac Mize book. Says nothing further is known about her.
