Listers, I am looking for an Anna Catherine Riddle born ca. 1825 in PA according to the 1880 census. She married Jonathan W. Stoop possibly between 1843 and 1846 and resided in Trenton, NJ the balance of her life. She is one of my brick walls. She has gone by Anna, Catherine and Anna Catherine in different records. It is entirely possible she is from the Carlisle, PA area or the greater Philadelphia area. She died in February 1878 and is buried in Riverview Cemetery, Trenton. Her obituary states nothing of her family ancestry and there is no death certificate available for her. Does anyone have a Riddle fitting this rather loose description. Her children are as follows: Mary R. Stoop, born ca. 1846 Charles Riddle Stoop, born 10/05/1849 Martha Stoop, born 12/28/1851 Sarah Wilhelmina Stoop, born 10/02/1855 Emma Stoop, born 10/02/1857 Susan Stoop, born 12/15/1859 Matilda Stoop, born ca. 1862 and Wilhelmina Stoop, born 01/1866 Possibly the naming patterns could yield some clues.
