This is what I have on Lewis Green. Jeremiah Green and Anna (Hartley) Green/Greene were the parents of Lewis Green. His brothers and sisters were William m Ruth Slaton, John m Orpha Slaton, Richard m Virginia Jane Trent, Eli m Elizabeth Slaton, Joel m Nancy Slaton, Neomi m Zackeriah Trent, Benjamine m Mary Polly Slaton, Lewis - no data, Ranson m Lydia ?, Alfred m Sarah Elrod. Parents of Jeremiah Green were Richard Green and Ellenor Sullivan (married in Rowan Couty, N.C.) Richard was born prior to 1750. They lived in Watauga Co., N.C., back then it was Wilkes County, N.C. Jeremiah moved his family to Hawkins County, Tn., before 1810. These volumes (430 pages) are not indexed and I could have missed a Lewis In 1812, Pittsylvania Co., Va the will of Ambrose Hawker (Hocker) left Sarah Riddle one shilling sterling. (Sarah is part of the Green Family).
