I am a descendant to Riddle's and I live in Texas-23 yrs. so far--live south of Austin 65 miles--originally from Rockford, Illinois. My mother [Lois was a Riddle, her parents-Oral / Lavena [McCollum] Riddle from Macon Co., Missouri. San Antonia is 110 miles from me. As a former Illini winters in Texas are a lot warmer. We now live in deep southwest Utah but are looking to return "home" (my wife was born in San Antonio but raised in Laredo) to San Antonio. Just how many Riddles' are there on the Riddle List in the South Texas/San Antonio Area? Maybe we will find what we want in Helotes on our next visit in May. Jackie - You must live down around New Braunfels. Now Rockford - it really gets cold - hurrah for Texas. I know well where Macon County, MO is but have no one in my direct Riddle Line from there (That I know of). I am a descendant of John Riddle (whom is a son of William Thomas Riddle - I think), then George Drummond Riddle, Mason Varnier Riddle, Guy Drummond Riddle and my father Roscoe Earl Riddle. They all lived in the Loraine/Quincy, Adams County, Illinois area. Keep it nice and warm down there so I can get out of San Antonio with my new car next week.
