    2. Jim In my files, I show a John Long married to an Ailcey Unknown. Their son, Colonel (name) Winfrey Long married Mary Ann Riddle. Here's a researcher's info below. James Madison Riddle was my grt-grt-grandfather. His daughter Mary Ann Riddle married Colonel Winfrey Long. These were my grt-grandparents. Their daughter, Ailcy Elizabeth Long, married James William Wheeler, in Casey Co., KY, on 24 June 1888. Their daughter, Felicia Wheeler, married Fred Louis Bates Feb 1917, in Jeffersonville, IN. The eldest son is James Louis Bates (moi). C. W. Long and Mary Ann Riddle were married in Cumberland Co., Ky, and left there about 1873(?) for Casey Co., KY. James M. Riddle and Sarah (Pruitt) are buried in Scotts Cemetery, near Burkesville, KY Mary Ann (Riddle) Long is buried in Caney Fork Cemetery in Casey Co., KY, near Liberty, Ky. C. W. Long is buried in an unmarked grave, next to one of his sons Cemetery ? Ailcy E. (Long)Wheeler and James W. Wheeler are buried in Magnolia Cemetery in Magnolia, LaRue Co., KY. Felicia (Wheeler - Bates) Long (she married Jesse F. Long) is buried in Centerfield, Oldham Co., Ky. That's my pedigree. I do have some information on William Thomas (Tory) Riddle. I have a book - by Mary E. Hill on him. Well researched. Jim
