He married Sary Johnson 1797 in Hawkins Co., Tennessee; born March 01, 1775 in Surry Co., North Carolina; died 1837 in Pulaski Co., Missouri. Notes for John Riddle: John was apparently left behind when his mother remarried and moved to Tennessee. He was bound at the age of seven in May, 1782, to James Newell until he reached the age of twenty-one.
