Hi, does anyone have any information on the Jeanette Riddle who married Honorias Powell, Jr. in 1736 in Orange Co.,VA? To the listers who are thinking that your ancestor named Green had an unusual name....in 20 yrs of research, I have run across Green as a first name dozens of times as I've researched the southern states. It really isn't as unusual as we would like to think it is, although, I must admit, I have never understood why anyone would name their son, Green!
