    2. The part that has me a bit hopeful is that William born in VA. as that is where mine was born in 1803. I have never had any idea as to where. Perhaps your William 1777 was the father to my William 1803. If it should turn out to be so wouldnt that be a great find. I thank you and will now try to explore my William along this new route. Will let you know what I find....... hopfully lots!. Joan
