Hi As a new subscriber, I thought it time to chuck in a bit of interest, as somebody obviously feels this list is not exciting enough! I hope this stimulates your collective grey-matter, as I am at a brick wall with this lot!!: I do not have anybody called Riddle in my line, however this is the closest name I can find on Gen-Forum (and elsewhere) to the RIDHOLLS that I do know of, including my grandmother, Laura Annie Ridholls. They all seem to come from the southern Devon/Cornwall border, which changed a bit ecclesiastically and governmentally in the time-scale we are talking about, c1852 for the birth of my Great Granddad, Henry Ridholls, in possibly Devon. He married an Ellen Tucker, b 1854 in Calstock, Cornwall. They had nine children, of whom I have details. If any appetites are whetted, please, I really do want to progress this line, so any information is gratefuly received. Sal;udos Ian
