Hi I was looking in the Riddell archives and found a message from a Beverly about Londenberry Northern Ireland Riddell;s but the email bounced back Want to ask you about the Oliver Riddell's you have Thanks Kathy in Pa
HI Ryan, Do you know where your William was originally from? My GGGrandfather was a William Oliver Riddle/Riddell from County Tyrone, Ireland. He immigrated to Ontario,Canada(at least that's where he settled. I noticed we have many of the same names in our Riddle family, Eva, Claude, Mina. Just wondering if there could be a connection somewhere. All of my family stayed in Canada. Thanks Kathy in Pa
ok mine are from a different group I am sure but do you have a Green Joseph Riddle born in Ala 1824-I know this is a totally different part of the US and I think I have the lines of the Riddle's to whom we are related as they have all been more than kind in trying to connect me to them; the Riddle's are a great bunch! Love them all and never met any of them except over the net. Green had a dau. Lula, a dau Minnie and a son George and a son Green; Minnie stood for Mary and there was also a Della in a later family. I was just wondering if maybe way way back we could not connect the lines that came from Scotland into VA. and other parts of the country. frances ----- Original Message ----- From: "Ryan Wadleigh" <rwadle5109@yahoo.com> To: <RIDDLE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Sunday, November 10, 2002 3:02 PM Subject: [RIDDLE] Riddle family of OR, MT and WY > Hi everyone, > > I am new to this list and thought I would post my > information. > > I have a large, comprehensive file on the descendants > of William and Maxamillia Riddle that settled in OR in > 1851. > > I descend through their daughter, Artinecia Riddle, > who married William Merriman and moved to Jackson > County, Oregon. > > I am sure there MUST be descendants out there on this > list, since William and Maxamillia had about 65 > grandchildren alone. > > Here is a glimpse of the Riddle descendants that I > have without my notes: > > William H. Thanks S Davis for the information on the vital statistic website. It said it was not available but I doubt if they had a child born in 1832 would have been posted. I do appreciate it though.
Sorry, but I don't believe they do. Here's a quote form the Vital Statistics page at http://www.kdhe.state.ks.us/vital/#records. Death Certificates-- Death certificates are on file beginning July 1, 1911. In your written request, state the name of the deceased whose record you are requesting, the date of death and the city and county of death. It is helpful to include the date of birth of the deceased, social security number, last known address, spouse's name, parents' names, place of burial, race, sex or any other information that may assist us in locating the correct record, especially if the name on the record is a common name such as Smith, Jones, Wilson, etc. ----- Original Message ----- From: <Wrakj1234@aol.com> To: <RIDDLE-L@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, October 30, 2002 12:10 AM Subject: Re: [RIDDLE] 1895 Lyon Co., KS Census > My Grandmother states in all the census records and also on her death certt. > she > was born in Kansas.
