    2. Thanks Bill I know somewhere in this family there must be a connection. Silas's children moved to Greenville county. The 1870 cenus shows Silas in Haywood county N.C. as a farmer. One of his sons Berry b.1848 also showed up there in another twp. The 1900 cenus shows Berry in Greenville county where most of Silas's grown children were living except my gggrandfather who was living in Anderson county. (Mattison Riddle) Thanks Again, Diane
