I can help with the descendants of Fountain R. Riddle. He was my great grandfather. My direct line is through his son James Jackson Riddle. Drop me a line and perhaps we can exchange info. William R. Riddle
Danny add me to the list. Thanks, Diane dhatf21158@aol.com
Great job Cathy, thanks for your time and effort. Steve Tallant
Hi Gang, All this talk of pictures of Riddle relatives just reminded me that we can have a free site on ancestry.com for such for all to see. We have one for our Vick researchers and it is great!! I don't have the expertise to get it started, but there is info on how to do it at ancestry. com. I have no vested interest in Ancestry....just know this could be a good way to post our pictures and also our "orphaned lines". Doris

Helen, your pictures, it didn't work for me either. I do not have AOL so maybe thats why. I tried the what Bill said to do but it didn't work either. Don't know what to say. Since mine is one of the orphaned Riddles, I must say thank you. But I am even more appreciative of the undertaking you completed because now I know I am not the only one searching for an alien! Great job and many thanks. Dewey

It would be a shame to lose them due to future children not knowing who the photos are......which is how my mom came to have so many of them. As my aunts passed away,,,,,,,their children didn't know who the people were in the photos,,,,,,,and they brought them to mama...... Mama has always sat down with us,,,,,and told us who was in her pictures. I'm trying to write on the back of all her pictures,,,,,who the people are.... and I need to do that with my own also........maybe someday. For some reason your letter reminded me of a slipup of mine...... A lady in Cumberland co. has a picture of John Wesley Riddle.....I know some here are researching him.......I don't know if he connects to my Riddles, but I was going to get a copy of her picture,,,,,and I forgot to..... I had forgotten all about it,,,,until I read your letter...... Helen
Thanks so much- a great help-maybe someday someone will "find" me. Roger Davis
