NEW LIST 1999! Here is Volume 10 of the Isaac and Joseph List. This is the new and revised list of the twins Isaac & Joseph RIDDLE's children and ancestors. Please email me with additions, subtractions, changes or if your email address changes. I will keep this list updated from time to time on the Riddle List until people get tired of me doing it. There are now 33 people listed as descendants of Isaac (18) and Joseph (15)! A lot of us out there. If any new people to the Riddle List are related to Isaac or Joseph please let me know. Note: I save up sending out the list until several things change, so please only keep at hand the latest list so you have the most up-to-date one. There seems to be a range of opinion on Joseph's children so if you know anything specific about his side please email me documentation, especially if something is factually wrong. We have our first descendant of James Madison Riddle (Joseph's son) on the list. Jim and I found each other while researching a different family line, Wheeler, although both of our Wheelers connect to our Riddles. We also have the first descendant of Isaac's daughter Harriet Elizabeth Riddle. We are now only missing descendants of Nancy Ann Riddle and James G. Riddle on Isaac's side. On Joseph's side we have yet to have any descendants log in for Mary "Polly" Riddle, Louise (Luvinsa) M. Riddle, John S. Riddle, Shadrack Monk Riddle, Ruth S. Riddle, Elizabeth A. Riddle, Henry R. Riddle or Arthur A. Riddle. I just recieved an obit for a Marion Francis Robbins the stepson of Richard F Riddle. Marion died March 7, 1929 in Oakwood. (Not sure if that is IL or MO.must be IL because I could not find a Oakwood MO) It has 2 half brothers a Edgar and Sam Riddle of Macomb IL. These are the 2 sons of Richard F. Riddle who married a Sophie Bloodgood Robbins (maiden & married name). My question is does anyone know of these 2 Riddle boys in Macomb IL. Samuel was born December 1891 and Edgar b. June 1895. My Riddle pictures need some company. This might be a neat deal we can share lots of Riddle Family info here. There is a chat room that can be used by members while visiting the site. Also you can see Who is Online while they are in the site. You can add as much info about yourself as you feel comfortable with. The birthday notice is neat we can all wish them a "happy birthday" as they get just a "little" older. If you have a photo you would like to share but don't have a scanner if you want to send it to me via snail-mail I will scan and post it. I put my Riddle photo's under the Album of William J. (Julius) Riddle that way others will know what line my Riddles are. You can name your own Album and post photo's of your family under that name. Come visit the "Solving the Riddles" family site and let's see what we can make out of this opportunity to share our Riddle family info. If you didn't get your "invite" to the site and would like one send me your full name an e-mail address. I just did some that were copies that didn't turn out too bad. A real picture is better but we will take what ever you send. Hi Ellen and all, Just a thought for those of you who don't have your own scanner. Some of the libraries in our area have a scanner that may be used by the public. You have to sign up to use it just as you would to use a computer or microfilm reader. You can take in your own disk, photo or other document and can save to your disk. Then you have a copy to share in the future via email and also have your photo on disk for safe keeping. With your photo scanned to disk, you can have the fun of adding it to the Solving The Riddles site yourself. Just a thought anyway. Cathy Riddle O'Connor
