    1. [RIDDLE-L] Massive Riddle file
    2. Hi Riddles, Did anyone actually download that massive Riddle file on ancestry.com that has been discussed on the Solving Riddles page? I don't have enough memory in my computer for the file. Could someone please search that massive file for William Riddle, born 19 March 1803 KY or Va; married Polly Parks, 25 March 1830 Monroe Co, IN; died 13 Sept 1840 Monroe Co, IN? Would appreciate any clues to place of birth, names of siblings and/or parents. There are 2 of us on the list that are stuck on this Riddle. Any help greatly appreciated. 3. Hello All, According to the marriage records of Ritchie Co. WV: Millard F. Riddle married "Lillie" E.A. Parish (noparents' names given) married on 4 Aug 1880, she being 18 and he being 24. Is this by any chance Lydia E. Parish, daughter of Hiram Parish and Phebe Ann. Is Millard F. Riddle possibly the brother of Eli Riddle who married Lydia Parish's sister? 3. Hello Riddle Relatives! I am chiming in on the recent, on going conversations about Moses Riddle... With regards to this association of Moses Riddle with the Saponi Indian tribe. I would be very interested in references which does relate to this. Here are some Native American URL's to sites on the Saponi that are rather interesting; this being 'a proable tribe' of our possible ancestory. (There are four URL's Below) Haliwa-Saponi Tribe http://www.charweb.org/neighbors/na/haliwa.htm It is my understanding that this above sites' owner Gayle Swanson, also has authored a book called "Profile of the Haliwa-Saponi Tribe of North Carolina". The Voice of the Occaneechi People http://www.occaneechi-saponi.org/ A URL with a more in Depth view follows, Brief History of Occaneechi... Saponi Nation http://www.pride-net.com/native_indians/saponi.html Lastly just some text overview including some mention of the Saponi, Virginia.txt http://www.mdc.net/~cherokee/virginia.txt (Sites posted as well with respect to November, Native American History Month)! Hope this was found of some interest Regards, Russ Merryman

    3. I am looking for the family of Lydia Riddle. She was associated with Robert Riddle and Alice (Vaughn) Riddle. I don't know if she was Robert's sister or their daughter or her age. In 1945, according to my baby book, Lydia and Alice visited on my first birthday in Hammond, IN. Hammond is in the northern part of the state twenty five miles outside of Chicago. Alice may have been visiting from PA where I believe she and Robert were living at the time. I am hoping Lydia's family can help with information that will aid me in tracking down my grandmother, Alice. Thanks, Michael Vaughn San Diego, CA mvaughn1@san.rr.com
