    2. Robert Riddle
    3. How about Owasco, 4 miles SW of Mystic. South on SR V from SR Calle. These Riddles were a branch of a larger group around Mystic, Green Castle, Green City and Milan. One of Robert Lee 's sons, Leonard Earl Riddle, Was born in Green Castle Feb 2, 1899. Leonard Earl was in Fulton, MO (Married to Cora May Hazlett) Sept 2 1938 filling out a SS card request. Their address was listed as RR 6 Fulton. Do you Know a Robert Andrew Riddle living in Milton Freewater, OR? You are right about Losing touch, I sat down to fill out some forms (On Myself) That I am going to mail out to ALL my Known Relatives and I realized how little I knew about just my immediate family. When I was in the military 25 years ago a guy came up to me and said we have the same last name. Said he was from Cumberland, KY. I just kind of blew him off, but now looking back, he could have very well been a cousin. 2. Doris Moore
    3. Stan, My Riddle family also lived in Oklahoma for a time....around Durant, Coalgate, etc. John G. Riddle was born about 1850 or so in Texas...the 1900 Choctaw Nation census says his father was born in Pa. I do not know who his parents were but a cousin has found recent info that his name was John Henry G. Riddle...which is probably true since his on was also John Henry G. Any possible connection? Thanks, Doris Moore [email protected]

    1. Re: [RIDDLE-L] whats happend to this list
    2. Gee I might if I could find Owasca Misssouri Robert. You must have it hidden away in the Ozarkies some whaar. You know in talking to my new found Riddle, Riddle, Riddle, Riddle cousin in Mole issouri the other day and talking to him for an hour or more on the phone. I have realized how easy family lose touch with their own kin over the years. Now here's two cousins mind you that neither one knew the other. My uncle Kenneth (may the good lord rest his weary sole) walking down the road one day back in the 70's or 1980's and this other cousin see's him carrying his bag of groceries down the road. This is around Breckenridge Mo. Caldwell Co. Anyway this cousin that I have been on the phone with. Stops and pickups him. Uncle was probably in his 60's or maybe even his 70's. But anyway they get to talking. I didnt get details but plan on doing so. So he gives this stranger a lift and lears that they are blood kin. Now what a heck of way to meet your own people. Of course I know some of the reason for this particular uncle. Because of the tragedy of losing his wife and baby at child birth and some other things back during WWII. But it is still a shame we louch touch with our own. I never knew my people except for the few who came to Mich to visit fm Mo. Stan

I have been quietly gathering (Understand: not sifting or sorting) information on and off (mostly off, I'm a working road dog) this list, and several others for the last 1 1/2 years. A kind Myers List member in Idaho has been the impetus to get this whole shebang in a readable form. So as to keep this list from going to heck in a handbasket give a newbie some information and advice QUICK, before I get another contract I can't turn down. The 1920 U.S. Census lists him, age 69, his wife, age 66, a son named Harry, age 37, and a grandniece named Edith Rasor, age 13. I am hoping an obituary for John will help clarify his relationship to Edith. Thanks. Robert, in Caldwell, ID. [email protected]

    2. Dear Bill: For me., *happiness* is bringing forth fine young men who will shoulder sole responsibility for carrying on the Riddle name in this branch of the family tree, working hard and believing, at the end of the day, that they have made a positive difference in the lives of young people, and being possessed of the strength and vision to embrace your joy.
