    3. hi i am a riddle on my great-grandmothers side her name was maude haynes married samual peecher in chillicothe ohio her mothers name was henrietta riddle her birth name is bella myrtle henrietta riddles father was grant riddle and i can find no birth or death records in ohio henrietta had indian blood and i was told she died of pnemonia while riding on a wagon carrying logs on her way to see her father maude (bella myrtle ) father was austin haynes/haines and his brother was names jefferson haynes/haines and these haynes/ haines lived in chillicothe ohio rosscounty does anyone have any info on this family i am at a dead-end i have so much on the peecher/peacher/pitcher and i am in dire need of my riddle family i feel like this grandma henrietta riddle has been lost in time and i would hate to be lost in time to my descendants also good luck to all my fellow cousin researchers keep up the good work if i run into anything on the riddles i will email you all sincerely cousin candace peecher

    3. Okay, all you folks with NC Riddle....who has my gggrandfather, Henry A. Riddle? He was born about 1825 somewhere in NC and was on the 1860 Hunt County, Texas census; he is listed as a farmer and waggoner. Wife is listed as Mary E. born in Tn; 3 children listed, William A., Sarah E. (married James Johnson Hammack in 1868 in Hunt Co) and my ggrandfather, John G....all born in Texas. I believe Henry went by his middle name which was probably Alex or Alexander or even Alick as that was on his son's death certificate.
