Hi~ I am looking for information on a possible daughter of Lysander L. Richardson (1848-1910). I believe the daughter would have been from his first marriage, although it is a remote possibility that she was from his second marriage, though based on information I currently have, that doesn't seem very likely. Any help with this would be very greatly appreciated! The information I have is as follows: Lysander L. RIchardson was born Aug 1848 in New York (his family lived around the Niagara county portion of New York) to Arnold & Eliza C. Richardson. His father died between 1860 & 1870 and his mother died between 1870 & 1880. Sometime between 1870 and 1880, Lysander both married and divorced. At some point, he began working for the railroad and ended up living in Clinton County, Iowa where his brother, William E., also resided for a period of time. Lysander married a divorcee by the name of Malissa "Luella" [Cook] Halley on 26 October 1880. For some reason, they went all the way to Genessee county, Michigan to tie the knot. They ended up settling in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas where they bought a house and Lysander died in July 1910. One of his obituaries mentions that he was survived by his wife and a daughter. I had not previously found any mention of a daughter, and his second wife, Luella, consistently told census takers that she'd had no children, so I'm guessing that the daughter may have been from his first marriage. Her birthdate should be sometime between 1870 & 1900, and she could have been born anywhere from New York to Michigan, Iowa or Kansas! I would love to hear from anyone with questions, further information or a connection to this family Thanks for listening, and take care! "-) Justina "-)
