    3. Although I do not have any information that directly relates to the request from Margrett McCorkle, I am responding to this message regarding my ggf. It has been rumored for generations that my ggf, Tom Richardson, came from Van Buren AR to Van Zandt County, TX about 1870. He was adopted by an AR Richardson family, the legend continues, and Richardson was his adopted name. This really presents me with a dilema. He died in Houston County, TX about 1940 and is buried in the Weches Cemetery, Weches, Houston County, TX. If anyone knows anything about Tom Richardson, or in general, how to track down a person that was probably adopted informally in that era, please advise. Joe Joe W.
