My Great-Grandfather Robert Richardson,b.12 December 1847 in Glasgow,Scotland,m. Janet Jeffery, 5 September 1873 in Lanarkshire,Scotland, d. 24 Feburary 1932 in Carterville,Williamson County,Illinois. *** Robert's prior life is a mystery, the older family members always said Robert, was in the English Army, at the time of marriage. I do know that Robert's profession in Scotland, was Journeyman Iron Molder. *** The few living family members today have said that Robert did not have the Scotish Brogue, like my great-grandmother Janet Jeffery.
