I just posted a response to Tom Wilde which says about everything I know about the Seth Richardson "connection." Your Seth line apparently originates in Mass, whereas his traces to Vermont. I despair of the numbers of "John Richardson" individuals...but there seem to be a lot of Seths wandering through New England and New York as well. I'm going to keep at this and will certainly share if I find connections.
