Steve: Thanks for your reply. Both the 1906 Rosell Richardson book and the 1971 Doreen Potter Hanna book list a Lucretia Richardson as the daughter of Stephen Richardson and Mabel Marsh. Both say she married Chester Cady (1786). However, the Hanna book says she also married Benjamin Jewett in 1787. The American Compendium of Genealogy traces someone's Jewett lineage back to Benjamin Jewett and Lucretia Richardson, daughter of Stephen and Mabel Richardson. This makes it appear that the Jewett marriage is the correct one. My Lucretia Richardson and Chester Cady were married many years, had ten children, and are both buried in the Sabin Cemetery in Pomfret CT. I just realized that this Lucretia Richardson would not be in Amos Richardson's will, but possibly in the will of his son, Stephen Richardson (1732 - 1809). I have that Stephen died in Windsor, Hartford Co. CT. His daughter Lucretia would be either a Cady or a Jewett. Does anyone have a will for this Stephen Richardson, son of Amos Richardson and Rachel Yarrington? Thanks so much for any information. Nancy Sicotte
