    3. Hi~ Thanks for the response! No, I'm not related on that line. My husband's family is from the Robert Cook line that came from New York and Canada and settled in Clinton County, Iowa in the 1840s. My connection to the Richardsons is through Robert Cook's daughter, Melissa Luella Cook, who married Lysander L. Richardson in 1880 (they were both previously divorced). They settled in Kansas City, Wyandotte, Kansas where Lysander died in 1910, and Luella died in 1934 in Leavenworth county. As far as I can tell, they didn't have any children, but Lysander's obituary leads me to believe he may have had a daughter from his first marriage. Take care, and Happy New Year!
