    1. Re: [RICHARDSON] Elusive Richardson, Johnathan aka Richeson
    2. Do you happen to know any of the other children of this Johnathan Richardson? I'm looking for a John Richardson, aka whatever, who married Elizabeth Overstreet in 1801 in Bedford Co. VA. (Bedford Co. marriage record). Tentative children of this marriage are: Nancy, b. abt 1801, m. William H. Hudson in Bedford Elizabeth, b. abt 1805 William, b. abt 1807 Mary "Polly", b. abt 1811, m. Bartlett C. Nichols in Bedford Sarah "Sally", b. 27 Feb 1812, m. Nathaniel N. Tate in Bedford Thomas J., b. 06 June 1814 m. Sarah (possibly Hankley/Hankla) , m. Mary Creal in LaRue Co. KY Matilda, b. abt 1817, m. Thomas Lumpkin? This list of possible children was given to me by the Overstreet list, but no proof. Their Elizabeth seems to have disappeared after her Bedford marriage record, so no documentation that these children belong to this John Richardson, except Bedford Co., marriage records for these daughters and a leap of faith. How many Johns are there? Zillions. My ancestor, Thomas J. Richardson, VA>KY>TX, is documented by census records and family history. He fits neatly into this 1814 birth slot on the list and that's all I have to go on for his parentage, other than old family history, which says his mother was an Overstreet who was part Cherokee. Overstreet people tell me Elizabeth Overstreet's parents were Thomas Overstreet, Jr. and Barsheba Turner and that she was part Cherokee, another piece in the puzzle. If anyone connects with any of this, I would love to hear from you. Wanda Richardson I can't answer your first question - How many are there? - but I can guarantee you there are zillions of Johns and many with an aka. Needle in a haystack. Wanda Richardson
