I got infected and never opened any attachments to the ones that I got. It made files on my windows systems folders. It was that W32 Badtrans worm or what ever it is caused. So I know that you CAN GET INFECTED WITHOUT OPENING THE ATTACHMENTS as it happened to me and I had to reformat my entire computer.
