Hi List Wilkes B. Richardson was born August 31, 1804 in Baltimore Co. Md. D. June 1887. M. (1) Ruth Riceston Bozman March 6, 1832 Morgan Co. Daughter of Wilkes Bozman she died 1845. M. (2) Elizabeth Ann Wallace April 22, 1851 Morgan Co. O. Daughter of John Wallace and Harriet Russell she was born June 14, 1834 Muskingum Co. Ohio D. Jan 13, 1914 Wilkes B. Richardson, one of the wealthiest and oldest residents of this county died at his home in Bloom twp early yesterday morning. Wednesday June 20, 1887. He had been in feeble health fro a number of years and his death was not unexpected. He was probably the largest land holder in the county, owning at his death nearly 1100 acres, all choice land. Wilkes B. Richardson, whose death we chronicled in our last issue, was born near Baltimore, Maryland, on August 31st, 1804. In 1821 he came to Morgan county, and in 1832 was married to Ruth R. Bozman, a sister of our townsman John R. Bozman. She died in 1845, and some years after, he married a second time. He had been a resident of this county for more than sixty years, and was probably the richest farmer in it, at the time of his death. News paper clipping marked June 1887 ELIZABETH RICHARDSON Elizabeth Ann, daughter of John and Harriet Wallace, was born in Muskingum county, Ohio. June 14, 1834, and died Jan. 13, 1914, aged 79 years, 7 months and 29 days. She was one of a family of twelve children, eight of whom are living. She was united in marriage to Wilkes B. Richardson on April 22, 1851, to which union were born eleven children, eight of whom survive her Vincent E. Mrs. Anna Jackson, Mrs. Wilkie Huffman, Cleason B. Madison M. and Mrs. Birdie Roberts all of McConnelsville, Mrs. Isolina Sevall of Rural Dale and Mrs. Mary Jane Stoneburner of Crooksville. She leaves 14 grand children and 10 great grand children. She was preceded to the spirit land by her husband 15 years ago. She united with the M.E. church some 20 years ago and had always remained a faithful member. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, always ready to lend a helping hand to those in need. Funeral services were held from Mount Zion church, conducted by Rev. Starrett of Rural Dale! .
