    3. I think I have a match for your John Richardson and spouse, Lettice. It appears that her maiden name was MORGIN (MORGAN). I copied this Will some years ago this while browsing though some Bedford County, Virginia records and books, and it seems to fit your ancestors. Transcribing it with my poor typing skills at age 77, is a labor of love. Hope it helps. Good luck and best wishes, Bruce Reference Joida Whitten (Editor) ABSTRACTS OF BEDFORD COUNTY, VIRGINIA WILLS, INVENTORIES AND ACCOUNTS, 1754-1786 (1968, Dallas), Bedford County (Virginia) Will Book 1, pages 207-208, Will of Thomas Morgin, Dated 1 April 1774: My son Lewis Morgin two shillings six pence sterling. My son Thomas Morgin two shillings six pence sterling. My daughter Ann Kinsey one shilling and three pence sterling. My daughter Elizabeth Vardiman one shilling and three pence sterling. My son John Morgin one shilling and three pence sterling. My son William Morgin one shilling and three pence sterling. My daughter LEATICE RICHARDSON one shilling and three pence sterling. My daughter Mary Morgin (Note: Nothing is listed following this name as seen in Will Book 1. Perhaps and oversight when the Will was being transcribed.) My daughter Susanna Morgin one shilling and three pence sterling. My son Samuel Morgin one shilling and three pence sterling. My daughter Hanar Inmon one shilling and three pence sterling. My son Reeace Morgin one shilling and three pence sterling. My daughter Pheaby Morgin cow and calf. My daughter Rachel Morgin cow and calf. I give to Morgan Morgin and my son Mordecai Morgin my old plantation only there is to be 10 acres reserved off from it to be added to the place whereon I now live and there is to be 200 acres to be taken off the 600 acre tract at the south end and is to be added to my old plantation. To my wife 420 acres whereon I now live during her life and then it shall fall to my son Abraham Morgin. To my wife during her life all my movable estate. At her death to be divided between her children. Witnesses: William Hancock, Elisha Inmann, Mary Hancock. Proven: 23 May 1774, by oaths of William Hancock and Elisha Inman. 1. RE: [RICHARDSON] TWO RICHARDSON LINES
    2. Bruce, thanks for posting the will of Thomas Morgan to the list. For those who're not familiar with this line, or the Thomas Morgan family, the wife referred to in subject will is the second spouse of Thomas Morgan. Another note of interest to those of the John Richardson - Lettice/Latitia Morgan line: following the death of John Richardson, Lettice/Latitia Morgan married a second time [can't recall off the top of my head name of second spouse but will see if I can locate my notes]. She moved with her second spouse to the state of KY where she later died. Good luck Kaye
